AMSOIL Commercial-Grade Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is a synthetic-blend UTTO that delivers reliable wear protection and smooth operation across the hydraulic systems, transmissions, wet brakes and power takeoff systems found in farm tractors, compact tractors, forklifts and off-road equipment.

Tractor hydraulic/transmission oils have to do a lot of jobs at once. The same fluid that keeps your hydraulic system responsive also has to protect transmission gears under load, keep wet brakes from chattering and maintain seal integrity across a wide temperature range. Conventional oils often struggle to balance all of these demands, especially in equipment that sees long hours in extreme heat or cold. When the oil breaks down, you get spongy brakes, inconsistent clutch engagement and accelerated component wear.

WEAR PROTECTION FOR HEAVY-LOAD COMPONENTS
Formulated with greater than 50% synthetic content, this oil resists viscosity breakdown and delivers consistent film strength where it counts. Anti-wear additives protect gears, pumps and valves under sustained heavy loads, which translates directly to longer pump and valve life. In ASTM D4172 four-ball wear testing at 40 kg, the wear scar measured just 0.33 mm, confirming strong anti-wear performance in metal-on-metal contact zones. That kind of protection matters when you're running a John Deere or Case tractor through a full day of fieldwork.

SUPPRESSES WET-BRAKE CHATTER
Wet-brake chatter is more than an annoyance. It creates vibration that stresses brake components and leads to premature wear. AMSOIL Commercial-Grade Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil uses high-quality friction modifiers that deliver continuous frictional stability over time. Lower-quality oils can lose their friction-modifier effectiveness as they degrade, allowing chatter to return well before the next drain interval. This formulation maintains smooth brake operation across the full service life of the oil.

CONSISTENT CLUTCH ENGAGEMENT AND HYDRAULIC RESPONSE
Friction-modifier additives promote predictable clutch operation and reduce the grab-and-slip behavior that makes PTO-driven implements difficult to control. Anti-foam additives keep air from being entrained in the hydraulic fluid, which helps eliminate the fade and sponginess that compromise hydraulic responsiveness. When you're running a front-end loader or operating a three-point hitch, that consistency in hydraulic feel is directly tied to productivity and operator confidence.

WIDE TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
With a pour point of -45°C (-49°F) and a Brookfield viscosity of 18,900 cP at -35°C, this oil flows readily in cold-weather startups, protecting components from the moment you turn the key on a January morning. A viscosity index of 159 means it maintains its protective film at operating temperature as well. Flash point sits at 230°C (446°F), providing a strong margin of thermal stability during extended operation in hot conditions.

SEAL CONDITIONING AND OXIDATION RESISTANCE
The formulation conditions seals and hoses to help prevent leaks, which is a common issue in aging equipment where dried or hardened seals allow slow fluid loss. Oxidation resistance keeps the oil stable at high temperatures, reducing sludge and deposit formation that shorten both oil life and component life.

Case/Case International MS-1204/1206/1207/1209, Sauer Sundstrand/Danfoss, and Sperry Vickers Eaton I-286-s and M2950s. This broad spec coverage lets you consolidate inventory across mixed fleets of farm tractors, compact tractors, forklifts, lawn tractor hydrostatic transmissions and golf course mower hydrostatic systems. It is compatible with conventional tractor hydraulic/transmission oils. To install, drain the existing fluid, change filters and fill with AMSOIL Commercial-Grade Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil.

SERVICE LIFE
Follow the drain intervals stated by your original equipment manufacturer. Intervals may be extended beyond OEM recommendations with supporting oil analysis.
