AMSOIL 5W-30 100% Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil is a true all-weather Universal Tractor Transmission Oil (UTTO) built to handle every system on your tractor from a single fill point. It replaces seasonal fluids with one synthetic formulation that protects transmissions, hydraulics, wet brakes, final drives and PTO systems in farm tractors, forklifts, Bobcat skid steers, Kubota equipment, John Deere tractors and a wide range of commercial machinery.

Modern tractor hydraulic/transmission systems are asked to do a lot. One fluid has to lubricate gears under heavy load, maintain precise hydraulic response under varying temperatures, keep wet brakes from chattering and protect seals across the entire machine. Conventional UTTOs often thin out in summer heat and thicken in cold weather, forcing operators to swap fluids seasonally or accept compromised performance at temperature extremes. AMSOIL Synthetic Tractor Hydraulic/Transmission Oil flows at temperatures as low as -50°C (-58°F), with a pour point of -50°C per ASTM D97 testing and a Brookfield viscosity at -40°C (ASTM D2983) of 18,797 cP. At the same time, a viscosity index of 171 (ASTM D2270) keeps the oil from thinning excessively at high operating temperatures, maintaining a kinematic viscosity of 10.1 cSt at 100°C (ASTM D445). This wide operating range means a single product covers the all-weather requirements of both Case New Holland MAT 3525 and MAT 3526 (formerly Ford New Holland FNHA-2-C-200 and 2-C-201) and John Deere J20C and J20D specifications. CONTROLS WET-BRAKE CHATTER
Wet-brake chatter is one of the most common complaints from tractor operators, and it almost always comes down to the fluid. Hydraulic pumps and transmission gears operate under constant pressure and load. The Four-Ball Wear Test (ASTM D4172, 40 kg, 75°C, 1200 rpm, 1 hr) produced a wear scar of just 0.37 mm, reflecting the strong anti-wear film this synthetic formulation maintains on metal surfaces.
