AMSOIL MP Metal Protector is a spray-on lubricant and corrosion inhibitor that cuts through rust, displaces moisture, and leaves lasting protection on metal surfaces without gummy residue. It handles the jobs you actually need done around the shop, garage, boat, and house, all in one can.

Rust, seized bolts, corroded electrical connections, squeaky hinges. These are everyday problems, and most people reach for whatever spray can is closest. The trouble is that many general-purpose sprays leave behind sticky film that attracts dirt, or they evaporate so quickly they offer almost no lasting protection. Saltwater environments, coastal air, and winter road salt make things worse, accelerating corrosion on everything from trailer hitches and truck frames to electrical terminals and lock cylinders.

MP penetrates deep through rust and corrosion to restore movement in seized bolts, stuck hinges, and frozen mechanical components. The formulation works its way into tight spaces where corrosion has locked parts together, breaking the bond so you can get things moving again. Whether it is a rusted trailer hitch pin, a corroded battery terminal, or a stuck throttle cable, MP gets to work quickly and reaches areas that thicker products cannot.

PROTECTS AGAINST CORROSION IN FRESHWATER AND SALTWATER
Once applied, MP leaves a protective film in place after the carrier evaporates. This film guards metal surfaces against rust and corrosion, even in saltwater environments. That makes it a practical choice for marine hardware, boat trailer components, outboard motor exteriors, and any metal exposed to road salt or coastal conditions. For best results, do not wipe the surface after application. Let the carrier evaporate and leave the protective layer intact.

DISPLACES MOISTURE AND PROTECTS ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
Water intrusion in electrical connections and ignition systems causes misfires, corrosion, and intermittent failures. MP displaces both freshwater and saltwater moisture, making it effective for drying out and protecting spark plug boots, distributor caps, wiring harness connectors, battery terminals, and other electrical components. Disconnect the power source before spraying.

COMPATIBILITY AND USAGE NOTES
AMSOIL MP Metal Protector contains no silicone. It is safe for use on plastic, leather, fabric, vinyl, and painted surfaces. Shake well before use and spray directly onto the area to be treated. For maximum corrosion protection, allow the carrier to evaporate naturally rather than wiping the surface.
