AMSOIL HEAVY-DUTY ANTIFREEZE & COOLANT

AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant delivers up to 1,000,000 miles of cooling system protection in a single fill, eliminating the need for supplemental coolant additives (SCAs) or extenders. It is a fully formulated, ethylene glycol 50/50 pre-mix built for heavy-duty diesel engines, off-road equipment, and mixed fleets that need long service life without the maintenance burden of conventional coolants.

Heavy-duty cooling systems face a unique combination of threats. Cylinder-liner cavitation can eat through wet sleeves from the inside out. Scale buildup from phosphates, silicates, and nitrites chokes heat transfer and clogs passages. And in mixed fleets running everything from Class 8 trucks to pickup trucks, keeping multiple coolant types on hand creates confusion and increases the risk of cross-contamination. A single coolant that handles all of it, without requiring additive maintenance, simplifies the entire equation.

PREVENTS CYLINDER-LINER CAVITATION WITHOUT NITRITE
Wet-sleeve diesel engines in Cummins, Detroit Diesel, and Navistar platforms are especially vulnerable to cavitation pitting. The rapid vibration of cylinder liners creates vapor bubbles that collapse against the liner wall, eroding metal over time. Traditional coolants rely on nitrite to combat this, but nitrite depletes quickly and can accelerate aluminum corrosion. AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant uses a proprietary hybrid organic acid technology (HOAT) formulation that delivers top-performing results in ASTM D7583 testing, the John Deere Cavitation Test, without the drawbacks of nitrite-based chemistry.

VIRTUALLY ELIMINATES SCALE BUILDUP
Phosphate, silicate, borate, and amine are common in conventional coolants, and they are responsible for nearly all scaling problems in cooling systems. Scale insulates heat transfer surfaces and restricts flow, raising operating temperatures and accelerating component wear. AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant is phosphate-free, nitrite-free, silicate-free, borate-free, and amine-free. The formulation also includes anti-scalant and anti-fouling additives that keep cooling passages clean over the full service life. For operators running 6.0L and 6.4L Ford Power Stroke diesels that specifically require silicate- and nitrite-free coolant, this product meets the mark without compromise.

CORROSION PROTECTION ACROSS ALL COOLING SYSTEM METALS
In third-party ASTM D2570 corrosion testing, cast-iron and copper plates protected by AMSOIL showed virtually no signs of corrosion. The formulation provides superior protection for aluminum, steel, cast iron, copper, brass, and solder alloys. That coverage matters in modern cooling systems where aluminum cylinder heads, cast-iron blocks, copper-brass radiators, and steel heater cores all share the same fluid circuit. A coolant that protects one metal at the expense of another is not an option.

ONE COOLANT FOR THE ENTIRE FLEET
AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant is compatible with all ethylene and propylene antifreeze colors, as well as all plastics and elastomers found in cooling systems, including hoses, gaskets, and water pump seals. The formulation includes water-pump lubrication additives for additional component protection. For mixed fleets running Freightliner, Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, and Mack trucks alongside pickup trucks and off-road equipment, stocking a single coolant that covers everything reduces inventory, training, and the risk of cross-fill errors. When used in non-heavy-duty applications, it provides protection for up to 150,000 miles or 5 years.

FREEZE AND BOIL-OVER PROTECTION
The 50/50 pre-mix with high-purity water provides freeze protection down to -34°F (-37°C) and boil-over protection up to 265°F (129°C) with a 15 psi radiator cap. No additional water is needed, and using the product as supplied maintains the correct concentration for maximum temperature protection in both directions.

SERVICE LIFE
In heavy-duty and off-road applications, AMSOIL Heavy-Duty Antifreeze & Coolant provides protection for up to 1,000,000 miles, 20,000 hours, or 8 years, whichever comes first. No supplemental coolant additives or extenders are required. In passenger car and light truck applications, protection extends up to 150,000 miles or 5 years, whichever comes first. Check and maintain coolant level at every oil-change interval, and consult the owner's manual for additional maintenance guidelines. Do not add water.
