AMSOIL DOMINATOR 100% Synthetic 2-Stroke Racing Oil is a purpose-built premix and oil-injection lubricant engineered to protect high-performance two-stroke engines operating at sustained high RPM and elevated combustion temperatures. It delivers the film strength, anti-friction performance, and clean-burn characteristics that race-tuned engines require to stay alive under punishing conditions.

Two-stroke racing engines are brutal on oil. Higher compression ratios, leaner jetting, and sustained wide-open throttle push cylinder temperatures well beyond what stock engines see. Light oils burn off quickly under those conditions, thinning the protective film between the piston and cylinder wall. The result is scuffing, seizure, and crankshaft bearing failure. Carbon deposits compound the problem by sticking rings, blocking exhaust ports, and creating hot spots that trigger destructive pre-ignition. The oil you run needs to survive the heat, protect the metal, and leave the combustion chamber clean.

DOMINATOR is built with carefully selected, higher-viscosity synthetic base oils that resist thermal breakdown in engines exceeding 10,000 RPM. This directly reduces the risk of piston scuffing and seizure in engines running aggressive port timing, higher compression, or forced induction. A viscosity index of 166 (ASTM D2270) confirms exceptional stability across a wide temperature range, from cold startup to peak operating temperatures.

ANTI-FRICTION CHEMISTRY REDUCES WEAR AND FREES UP POWER
Friction is the enemy of both reliability and output. DOMINATOR's race-proven anti-friction formula reduces drag on the piston, rings, and crankshaft bearings. Less friction means less heat generation at the piston-to-wall interface, which preserves clearances and extends component life. It also means more of the combustion energy goes to the crankshaft instead of being absorbed as waste heat. This is a direct, measurable benefit on the dyno and on the track.

CLEAN-BURNING FORMULA PREVENTS CARBON-RELATED FAILURES
Two-stroke oils burn with the fuel. What they leave behind matters. DOMINATOR uses clean-burning synthetic base oils combined with powerful high-temperature detergent additives to minimize carbon deposits on pistons, rings, and in the combustion chamber. This helps prevent ring sticking, exhaust port blocking, and the carbon-induced hot spots that cause pre-ignition and detonation. BROAD APPLICATION RANGE FOR COMPETITION USE
DOMINATOR is designed for use in high-performance stock or modified two-stroke engines across motocross bikes, snowmobiles, personal watercraft, ATVs, go-karts, and outboard motors. It works in both oil-injected and pre-mix applications. In pre-mix configurations, it delivers outstanding protection at a 50:1 ratio (2.6 oz. per U.S. gallon of gas), though many racers adjust the mix ratio to suit their specific setup and conditions. It is compatible with high-octane racing fuels and exhaust power valves. DOMINATOR is also compatible with most other two-stroke oils, though mixing should be minimized for best results. It is not suitable for use with alcohol or nitro-methane fuels.

APPLICATIONS AND SERVICE NOTES
DOMINATOR is formulated as a racing oil and is optimized for severe, short-duration use where engines are periodically inspected. It is not intended for long-term use in outboard motors as a TC-W3-type oil, though it is excellent as a race oil for short-term outboard applications.
