AMSOIL Wheel + Tire Cleaner is a pH-balanced, two-in-one formula built to strip away brake dust, road grime, and tire blooming without damaging your wheel finish. It works on every wheel type, from factory alloys to polished chrome to matte black aftermarket rims.

Wheels take a beating that most people underestimate. Brake dust is metallic particulate that bonds to wheel surfaces at high temperatures, and if left to sit, it can etch into clear coats and finishes permanently. Brake dust from semi-metallic and ceramic pads contains iron particles, adhesive residue, and carbon fibers that bond aggressively to hot wheel surfaces. This cleaner uses a specialized surfactant blend engineered to penetrate and lift these bonded contaminants on contact. A quick agitation with a wheel brush and a rinse is all it takes. Working one wheel at a time prevents the product from drying on the surface, which keeps results consistent across all four corners.

ELIMINATES TIRE BLOOMING
That brown, streaky discoloration on tire sidewalls is called blooming. It happens when antiozonant compounds in the rubber migrate to the surface and oxidize. Instead of needing a separate wheel cleaner and a dedicated tire cleaner, this two-in-one formula handles both surfaces in a single step. Rinse the wheel and tire, spray for full coverage, agitate with a brush, and rinse again. The citrus scent is a practical bonus over the harsh chemical smell typical of acid-based wheel cleaners. Application Notes
Park the vehicle in a cool, shaded area and make sure wheel surfaces are cool to the touch before applying. Hot wheels can cause the product to flash dry, reducing cleaning effectiveness.
