In ASTM D4172 Four-Ball Wear testing at 150°C, 1800 rpm, and 40 kg load, it produced a wear scar of just 0.46 mm. That kind of protection matters in a Polaris Ranger hauling fence posts, a Can-Am Outlander pulling a plow, or a Honda Foreman grinding through rocky trail sections.

SUPERIOR HEAT RESISTANCE
Towing, hauling, and sustained low-speed operation in warm weather push transmission and differential temperatures to extremes. When lubricants break down under heat, deposits form and wear accelerates. This fluid posts a flash point of 210°C (410°F) and a fire point of 220°C (428°F), giving it substantial thermal headroom over typical OEM gear oils. It cools critical components and resists oxidation to keep transmissions and differentials clean during severe-duty work.

COLD-WEATHER FLUIDITY
Cold mornings and winter riding demand a fluid that flows quickly to protect gears at startup. With a pour point of -43°C (-45°F), this fluid remains fluid in frigid conditions, reducing the sluggish, hard-shifting feel that plagues thicker OEM fluids in cold weather. If you're plowing snow with a Kawasaki Mule or starting a Yamaha Grizzly on a January morning, the fluid reaches critical components fast.

ZERO FOAMING UNDER STRESS
Foam compromises film strength and accelerates wear. In ASTM D892 foam testing across all three sequences, AMSOIL Synthetic ATV/UTV Transmission & Differential Fluid recorded 0/0/0, meaning zero foam tendency and zero foam stability. Gears and bearings stay protected by a consistent oil film, even during aggressive operation over rough terrain.

SPECIFICATIONS AND COMPATIBILITY
This fluid meets API GL-5 requirements and is designed for use in ATV and UTV transmissions and differentials, including those made by Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Can-Am, and Suzuki.
